press release (short vers.) November 2015 Tour

Don Preston - keyboard, synths, devices

Mike Dillon - vibes, asst’d percussion

DON PRESTON at 83 is a synth originator that toured with everyone from Nat King Cole to Leo Sayer and brought synths to the classic Zappa/Mothers albums. Don has contributed to many soundtracks like Blood Diner and  (with Pat Gleeson) Coppola’s Apocalypse Now. Besides his deep knowledge and creativity with synthesizers of all types, Don's prowess as a jazz pianist is another secret weapon that more fans become aware with over time.

MIKE DILLON is a percussionist, punk rock provocateur & jazz vibraphone visionary, who will sandwich this run between Primus tours. Mike at any given moment is usually on tour or in session with a dizzying array of duos, trios, and ensembles of all styles and sizes.

ANDRE CHOLMONDELEY on electronic guitar & textures, founded the alumni-based Frank Zappa tribute band Project/Object. He splits his time between teching/tour managing for several artists (Adrian Belew, David Torn, Eddie Jobson) and performing in a number of projects.
